The Miami Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America provides service for boys
(ages 7 to 20) in Darke, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby counties.
The purpose of the Boy Scouts of
America is to provide an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.

Summer Camp and Webelos Camp Dates
Some confusion has been noted in a couple of dates in the Camp Leader’s
Guide for 2008. Please note these correct dates!
Boy Scouts - Ten day out meeting will be held “Ten Days Out.”
In July that means: July 3, for Week 3 ; July 10, for Week 4 ; July 17,
for Week 5 ; these are Thursday nights
Cub Scouts -
We will be running the second Webelos Session
starting on Thursday, August 7, and ending on Sunday, August 10. Please make
sure that you note these corrections with your unit’s parents and camp
leadership
