Our goal is to provide you with a positive experience every time you visit us - we will either have what you are looking for or will get it for you as soon as possible. Generally, we do special orders on Tuesday morning each week and receive the ordered merchandise one ro two weeks later. In order to make sure that you have everything for your next awards prsentation, pack meeting, or Court of Honor, please give us as much lead time as possible. For your additional convenience, you are welcome to email your order to dreck@mvcbsa.com. Your Customer Service Specialist, Daryl Reck (otherwise known as the Scout Shop Czar), or one of the other members of the Scout Shop staff will call you you as soon as your order arrives. Be sure to visit us from time to time to check out any discontinued items that we put on sale, as well as new items we feel you won't be able to do without, a new display for the fall that is geared to parents of new Cub Scouts, and eventually, an expanded ladies section. NEWS FLASH!!!! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be on the other side of the counter serving other volunteers with their needs? Do you have a few hours from time to time that you would be willing to donate to the Miami Valley Council in the Scout Shop? We are working on building up a volunteer corps who can help in the Scout Shop in many ways, whether it be running the register, checking in merchandise, filling orders, restocking shelves, helping with seasonal inventory counts, and much more. Your help can lead to a better experience for our many volunteers, improved service, and what's more, our current volunteers think it's FUN!.
